Those Nominations In Full
Reading & Writing
12th May 2015
Just a sounding-own-trumpet heads-up on the following news just in. ‘Bryant & May: The Bleeding Heart’ has now been nominated for;
Theakston’s Old Peculiar Crime Writing Festival Novel Of The Year Longlist
Bristol Crimefest Last Laugh Award
CWA Dagger In The Library Award
And I’ve just been shortlisted for the Margery Allingham Short Story Award, for my story ‘The Negotiation’.
If I make it to the Theakston’s shortlist I could offer to change Bryant & May’s division to the Theakston’s Old Peculiar Crimes Unit. Just a thought.

Well done! Hope you’ve been able to track down a pint of Theakston’s Old Peculiar to celebrate.
Not a good idea for a London lad, seriously strong Northern terminal head-banger brew. Even the locals don’t drink it.
Congrats and best wishes for the later rounds.
Old Peculiar is they best way to describe Bryant & May.
Congratulations! I have been reading your work since The Bureau Of Lost Souls and Roofworld were out and I have grown older with Bryant & May. They are almost like old friends.
