That’s one of the best I’ve heard. Thanks so much.
I needed that because I’m now slogging, slogging toward the end of a really long project: revising, trimming, editing – yes, Virginia, I do edit – checking facts, foreign maps and languages, re-identifying multiple characters, times, “youthing” a few characters, and attempting to create a central female character who might tempt a few women to say: “He did what? How could a guy do that? I actually identified with her, and she was in an “action” novel!”
So, Admin, thanks for yet another great find!
Your blog is truly a generous, interesting, helpful and oft exciting work in daily progress. Keep it up.
You’re already supporting writers with their writing, although not yet – think – via pub-night discussions,as you once reported you were considering. To your health, mate, or is it dude?, may you see the next Flash Dump on the horizon headed your way. Through a glass of brown darkly. Prosit! Cheers!

Thanks so much for sharing this. At the risk of sounding like a total suck, YOU are every bit as wise and talented as Mr Gaiman (in case you had not noticed).
