A Very Merry Christmas To You All

Observatory

I know I’m supposed to say ‘holiday season’ but to me it’s Christmas, just as I would also celebrate Diwali or Hannukkah, so to here’s wishing you all the best year ahead ever, when old habits are released, new links forged, new friends made, new steps taken and new things learned. A Very Happy Christmas!

And a very Happy Christmas to you and yours, Chris, with wishes for all the best for the new year. Don’t forget to cherish the old, though, old memories, old photos, old friends.

A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your loved ones! Wishing you a prosperous and creative 2012! (I do hope that the Bryant and May comic will become a reality in the New Year!)
Congratulations on “Bryant and May and the Memory of Blood”; it is the finest novel in the entire series (although “Full Dark House” remains my personal favourite).
Best wishes from Maastricht, the Netherlands,
    Peter

A very Happy Christmas to you and yours, admin, and to all the other posters/readers of this blog. Unless your Jewish, in which case I hope you’re having a wonderful Hanukkah. 🙂

Best wishes to all from a hobbit bedecked in shorts and t-shirt, in a blissfully sunny part of southern New Zealand. xxx

We are now minutes into Christmas Day. We have had our Christmas eve dinner of German sausage and smoked pork loin, had our coffee and cake, and opened our gifts. And the clean up is done, so there’s little to keep us from going to bed and going to sleep for “a long winter’s nap”, except for the new books we’ve received. It is always impossible Not to sample a litle of each one, isn’t that so? Just a flyleaf or two here, a couple of title pages there, an index or so, the copyright boilerplate, and a short opening chapter or three, and then we’ll go straight to sleep. Except we can’t, but we don’t want to look worn and red eyed at Christmas Day dinner from of lack of sleep. “Oh no,I’m quite well. I stayed up a while reading” which doesn’t sound true to non-readers. They’ll suspect we were actually too long by the Christmas Eve bowl of rum punch. Well, if that’s how it’s to be, I’ll just finish the damned book, since there are only three short chapters left. Happy/Merry Christmas.
