Unsung Heroes

There are several people I should thank a bit more often for keeping the books-N-writing roadshow rolling here at Fowler Towers, so here’s a shout-out to Graham Humphries, here seen with his own Whimshurst Machine. Graham did the covers for ‘Red Gloves’, the upcoming ‘Hell Train’, and helped on many other designs going back to the artwork for ‘Rune’. Simon Moore designed the site but would make a terrific book jacket designer, as this cover (turned down by the publisher) shows.

Finally, my oldest friend and PA Sally Chapman stops everything from collapsing around me, here seen using an old-fashioned filing system, which she simply won’t let go of and only she understands. As the year is closing, I thought it would be nice to thank them.

Good, you can’t thank these people too often. And we thank them, too, since it means a regular flow of Fowler into the world. Started re-reading White Corridor last night. I’d forgotten how good it is .

    I think I recognise that filing system…
