I’m Moving To A Five-Post Week

Thanks to those who offered me advice about social media, and the time it eats up in my job. I think the best way to deal with this is by making a small change.

Due to Brexit and rising prices, I shall be switching to a five-post working week online. (Well, that’s what everybody else uses for an excuse). So there’ll be five instead of seven posts a week.

This will allow me to write better considered and more deeply researched pieces during the week, making them longer reads. I’ll file them across the full seven days so you probably won’t notice the difference (readers ask me about writer’s block, to which I suggest they run a blog because you never stop writing long enough to block!)

I personally don’t believe there’s any such thing as writer’s block. It belongs with the male menopause and shampoo herbs mending split ends, first-world nonsense for people who spend a little too long in Pret choosing between their virtually identical-tasting sandwiches before settling for Crayfish & Rocket, which tastes like small pieces of toilet disinfectant between two pieces of foam backing.

So, unless you strenuously object, is that okay? In return I hope you’ll see a jump in quality!

Addicts can always look back at earlier posts and savour them properly.

Considering what we pay for this it’s a bargain no matter what we get.
