The Devil Times Four

Books

PERSONAL

On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love gave to me…four horrendously creepy volumes of short stories. Because my award-winning ‘Devil Quartet’, Personal Demons, The Devil in Me, Old Devil Moon and Demonized are about to come out as e-books!

OLD DEVILHere you’ll find out what happened to the cutlery of the Marquis de Sade, and how a thousand clocks must be wound before sunset every night. You can watch in horror as a holiday takes a nasty turn thanks to a gang of monkeys, and how a pair of slackers deal with an accidental murder. There’s the tale of a journalist spending the worst weekend of his life at Hitler’s house party, a catwalk model’s grisly guide to staying hot, and quite a few stories with serious themes – one written as a response to the rising tide of anti-semitism the world is once more experiencing in the story ‘In Safe Hands’.

DEVIL-IN

‘Not merely beautiful writing,’ says Kirkus Reviews, ‘but a hint of Promethean promise.’ No, I have no idea what that means either. But bless them for saying it.

Anyway, I won a bucketload of awards for this quartet, all appearing with new intros at a looooow price. These are the UK editions, but there are also editions coming to the US. Advert over.

DEMONIZED-2

Yes. Wonderful. I don’t read much on paper any more so these are most welcome.

If it’s a new hint of Promethean promise then it’s a stitch up job.

    Wayne.
