Killing For Charity

London

OxCrimes full cover

Okay, not just killing but robbing, blackmailing, committing all kinds of heinous dishonests – and it’s all in a good cause. Ian Rankin introduces a collection of crime writing that’s an Oxfam charity fundraiser, featuring a compelling (it says here) cast of 27 suspects that includes George Pellecanos, Mark Billingham, Val McDermid, Irvine Welsh, Denise Mina, Alexander McCall Smith, Ann Cleeves, Walter Moseley and myself, weighing in with a new Bryant & May story.

It’s available through all good booksellers (so no WH Smith then) and Oxfam shops, too. You can get it here, or at Foyles, Waterstones, Amazon etc. The previous projects for Oxfam, OxTales (2009) and OxTravels (2011), have raised over £250,000 so far. Nice.

I want it. So…. it’s off to the bank to apply for a loan.

I had popped into the local branch during lunch, not a sausage.

And then I dug a little deeper it’s not out for another 3 weeks.

*shakes fist in the general direction of Barcelona*

    [Not a total loss, OSS 117 Le Caire Nid D’Espions for £2. 🙂 ]

Looks great! I may have to check out older versions too. For some reason the Amazon US is showing Feb 2015 as the release date. Off to amazon uk.
