Hot ‘Wire’ In The Old Town

London

moorcockJust a reminder that on Thursday May 16th, Michael Moorcock, Peter Milligan, Mike Carey, Roger Langridge and I will be helping to launch TRIPWIRE 21 and an exhibition at Foyles in Charing Cross Road, London  at 6.30pm, price £5 / £3. I shall be attempting to avoid geekiness and hide my awe at the illustrious company and failing again, probably.

Hope to see you there.

And I would be, too. I am also a bit in awe of Angelina Jolie, who came out – although she needn’t have – about having a double mastectomy. A bold move for a movie star and a smart health move for her. Other women with similar genetic defects, I’m quoting, should take note and see Ms. Jolie as an excellent example in real life, not just an action figure in an sexy action video game.
And men read up on what can hit you. The Big C can be sneaky and one day, you have it.

  2. Mike Carey? They guy who called Sleepless Knights “Wonderful neo-chivalric highjinks. Williams gleefully takes the training wheels off the Arthurian cycle.” ? THAT Mike Carey?

. . . oh yeah, some ‘Fowler’ guy said some nice things too. Whoever he is. His words are right below Mr. Carey’s words on that page you can reach through the link above.

Ah, so there are items which cause Mr. Martin to hit the keyboard.
