I came up with straplines for the continuation of the Bryant & May series, and lovely Martin Sorensen, the bookseller at the number one store on my list to visit in the world, Green Apple Books in San Francisco, has taken me at my word. Behold. Visit his store. Buy many books. Over and out.

Very Nice to see that…. I agree buy many books.
Appropriately quirky!
You should visit Green Apple Books they are fabulous! I promise to go get some Bryant and May there soon. Any chance of a book signing in SF?
Green Apple is also near the Columbarium which seems like a Bryant and May type spot. http://www.neptune-society.com/who_we_are/columbarium_tour.html.
We’re only going as far south as Portland this year or I would certainly visit what is obviously a more than wonderful book store. I’ll have to make do with Powell’s. Which is not the same sort of thing at all.
Yes, Admin. Never sell bolg readers short. Clearly Green Apple is an a B & M activist. I will look them up on the internet.
Now, back the readers march on your publishers and that slo-mo B & M fash-mob. Advise.
Haha! Well done, that man.
Any possibility of seeing what the write-up to the right of the photo says?
shame he couldn’t fix the godawful covers
That writeup is almost legible when you enlarge the photo but the right hand half is out of the picture. It appears to say something along the line of “This is the latest in Christopher (Fowler’s) series from London. The detectives are undercover and searching for fugitives…” That’s the closest I can make of it.
