Portrait Of The Writer As A Young Twat

That’s right, have a good laugh, then calm down and behave. I am wearing a fire engine red Tommy Nutter suit made for George ‘Inspector Wexford’ Baker, who gave it to me. The lady is my friend Avis, who once worked for Hertz. I wish I was making this up.

The point is, I’m toying with the idea of writing a sequel to my memoir ‘Paperboy’ as, although it’s complete in itself, it only tells half of the story. Entitled ‘Film Freak’ the new book will describe what happened when I went into the film business and made a total ass of myself. As you can see.

Don’t place your orders just yet as I haven’t finished / got a buyer for it. The more copies of ‘Paperboy’ I can shift, the more chance I’ll have of persuading my publisher to dosh out. Over to you, then…

Got my copy of “Paperboy” two weeks ago -I read the first half half during a train trip & ripped through the rest in about three days! It was wonderful, heartfelt & funny. I’m going to get more copies as gifts, hoping there’s a sequel to our boy Chris’ adventures. Cheers!

  2. Nostalgia aside, the flat top definitely works better! ^__________^

I’m attempting to adjust this image in PhotoShop so as to make the colour more accurate, as the version here is rather faded and lacking over-all in blue. Sadly, while the colour improves, the ‘twat factor’ seems to get worse no mater what. Ghah…

Ah, IAM has returned to his native soil and appears to be functional. Good. I am just beginning to stop laughing at that picture, so anything that would reduce the silly factor would be welcome. Could this be the cover of the next book? Removing Avis first, of course. (How could Hertz have hired her when her name tag would say Avis? I don’t think that would be considered an improper reason for not hiring.)

Having read ‘Paperboy’, which I have to admit was one of the best biogs I’ve ever read, I can’t wait for the ‘next chapter’.
As for the picture, I think we all had a shirt like that once (long ago, in a galaxy far, far away).

Hurry up Mr. F, get cracking with that sequel!!!!
