New Site Layout

Observatory

I hope you like the new layout. Designer Simon Moore is still making tweaks, but I hope you’ll find much more information here now. I’ve added drop-down menus along the top of the page, making everything easier to navigate. Meanwhile, take a look at this if you haven’t already seen it. It’s called Architectural Projection Mapping. Branchage is on the island of Jersey, off the West coast of Britain. I hope someone will be doing more of this in London.

Not that one minds, or is commenting on the desirability of it, but… why does the address bar of my browser now display a little purple mouse or rat silhouette? Is that the legendary London Rat which one is never more than some short distance from whilst perambulating the area?

…having now watched the video, the section of Michael Marchall Smith’s book Only Forward dealing with entire sections of cities devoted to particular colours, and the buildings therein able to alter their tones within those shades specifically, seem to be incredibly possible now.

This can only be a good thing, as this simple but imaginative projected demonstration is WAY COOL!!
