London Means Never Having To Say You’re Silly

London

London Fashion Week finished with a day of menswear. Yes, the current London style of wearing a skin-tight grey cardigan over a check shirt is over. You no longer have to look like an emaciated version of your grand-dad. Instead, choose one of these outfits and be the talk of certain parts of the town (Hoxton, Old Compton St, Camden Market). Probably best to stay out of Liverpool, though. These are the kind of clothes you’d be wearing as you wake up on the pavement to find a policeman standing over you shouting ‘Are you all right, mate? Can you remember where you are?’

Terrifying. Just plain terrifying. The second outfit says to me “I just got up and can’t be arsed”. What the first says to me is difficult to comprehend as it’s not saying it in English or any of the languages one recognises.
