The Covers That Didn’t Make It

Reading & Writing

I was turning out a cupboard yesterday and found throwing out old artwork from my days in film marketing. Each time I’d written a new book, friends in our studio created a cover for it. This is one for my collection ‘Demonised’, designed by Simon Moore, the art director who created this site. That’s him on the cover – I always thought it was better than the image we ended up with, but the publishers weren’t keen on it.

Throwing out stuff?! There’s eBay. Have you heard of it?

But seriously, God, man, DIGITIZE it first if you must rid yourself of it. Don’t waste future memoir material like that! At the very least, it’s also blog fodder!
